HAPPY HALLOWEEN ALL YOU LITTLE DOGGIES

It's that time of year again and our Momi is having fun dressing us up in costumes.

Cha Bu has a new costume.  It's a pretty orange skirt and necklace.   I'm wearing last year's alligator costume.

The weather was perfect and we enjoyed out time in the sun.  Momi gave us doggie treats and took a lot of photos of us.  She likes to do that.

Later that day we went for a ride in the motorhome to visit our cousins who have a little doggie that was dressed as a lady bug.

 Isn't she cute?

Her name is Chili.

WE ARE BACK AT THE BEACH!

The weather has finally gotten sunny and warm and Momi took us to Grand Isle State Park for a few days.

We love to sit on the picnic table under the palm trees and watch other campers and their doggies.

We rode in the beach cart to the town beach off of the park, because there are no pets allowed on the beach at the park. Soooooo stupid!

SHIH TZUS AT MARDI GRAS

Momi took me and Cha Bu to a night parade in the motorhome.  We parked close to the street and was able to see the floats ride by.  I don't like loud noises and get really scared when the parade gets loud.  So I stay inside the RV and that's fine with me. 

Our neighbor Carolyn and her dog Prince came along with us.  Momi and Auntie Carolyn had pizza and beer but us doggies ate our usual food.

We enjoyed our time with friends in the motorhome and felt safe in a crowd of Mardi Gras revelers.  I'm sure we'll do it again next year.

TODAY IS XI SHI QUAN'S 5th BIRTHDAY

Momi gave me and Cha Bu a birthday party today.  I turned 5 and Cha Bu will be turning 4 next Thursday.  Momi made us our favorite chicken and rice pie and decorated with a Mardi Gras Theme.  She took a lot of photos of us sitting at the table waiting to be fed.  We didn't get any presents because we have too many toys already, Momi says.  However, we did get to go for a ride in the motorhome and we like that.

I often think about entering my babies in the show ring but it is a lot of work and I don't think I'm up to it.

FINDING CHA BU'S ROOTS

Cha Bu was born in New York!  OH NO... she's a yankee!!  ;-)

My Momi researched the breeder's name and found her website.   She emailed the breeder and asked if she could get a photo of Cha Bu when she was little.  The breeder responded and was happy to hear from us.  She sent photos of Cha Bu's parents as well as a photo of Cha Bu when she was a puppy.
