MY FUN TIME AT THE BEACH

Momi and I just got back from a week at the beach.  I love the beach.  It smells like so many different things.  I just keep my nose to the ground and walk around trying to get every smell I can.  Sometimes I chase the birds that walk around but never can catch them.

I couldn't go swimming this time because Momi said the water wasn't safe.  So all we did was walk the beach which was fun but I like to get into the water.  Maybe next month when we come back I will get to swim.

There were so many little doggies at the park but only one came over to play with me.  He was a little black poodle and he gave me a kiss on my nose.  I let him smell me and I smelled him, too.  Our camper door was open so he jumped inside.  He was not on a leash and his momi didn't know where he was.  She kept calling him and then a little girl came to get him.  The cats inside the camper ran and hid under the seats they were so afraid of him.  It was really funny.

I got to see my best doggie friend Prince yesterday.  He told me he missed me and gave me lots of kisses.  My people neighbors said they missed me, too.  It's good to be home.

That's me helping my Momi drive the motorhome.

Here I am walking on this big long fishing pier.  I could smell fish everywhere.

This is one of my sister cats enjoying the sunset and palm trees.

This is where I sit with Momi when she is on the computer which is all the time.  If I make my little crying sounds she will turn it off and take me for a walk.  I love my Momi.

BEING A GOOD DOG IS HARD

Let me give you a list of just some of the things I must remember to be a good dog:

I will not eat the cats' food before they eat it or after they throw it up.

I will not roll on dead seagulls, fish, crabs, etc., just because I like the way they smell.

I will not munch on "leftovers" in the kitty litter box; although they are tasty, they are not food.

The sofa is not a face towel; neither is Momi's lap.

The garbage collector is not stealing our stuff.

My head does not belong in the refrigerator.

I will not bite the officer's hand when he reaches in for Momi's driver's license and registeration.

I will not play tug-of-war with Momi's underwear when she's on the toilet.

Sticking my nose into someone's crotch is not an acceptable way of saying "hello".

I must shake the rainwater out of my fur before entering the house.

I will not throw up in the car.

I will not come in from outside and immediately drag my butt across the carpet.

I will not sit in the middle of the living room and lick my crotch when company is over.

The cat is not a squeaky toy; so when I play with her and she makes that noise, it's usually not a good thing.

CHILLIN' AT THE BEACH

Here I am enjoying the afternoon on my favorite chair. This photo was taken at the Grand Isle State Park in Grand Isle, Louisiana on May 8, 2011. This park is close to our house in Houma so we go there often.
